NOTE--You do NOT need to put your Ad bust on construction paper unless you want to.Many of the projects are well done and do not need a background mount.
You are going to take an existing Alcohol or Tobacco Ad and make it into an ANTI ad. This can be done by altering the picture, changing the words, adding additional things, it is up to you.
For this assignment you must return the ad you choose, INTACT. You can trace it onto white paper, OR you can free hand draw it. This CANNOT be done on the computer. IT MUST BE DONE BY HAND with pencil, pen, markers, crayons, colored pencils and what not. You can cut elements out of the magazines to paste on what but not the whole thing
The key is to keep the basic design of the ad there so it can be recognized. If you turn in a REAL magazine ad that has been changed from the original I provided (meaning it cannot be used again for someone else) you will receive a 50% deduction. There are only about 55 ads for ALL the classes and therefore not enough unless you trace and do not ruin them.
EXAMPLE:
Additional examples can be found in the R Drive Under Ferris, Media, Ad Bust, Student Examples
You can also check out this site for more examples. Notice they are all based on a REAL ad just changed
